What you can Expect During a Breastfeeding Consultation

  • Initial lactation consultations are 90 minutes, in your home, or at the hospital

  • Relevant literature and resources for your reference
  • Individualized written breastfeeding plan, as needed
  • Follow up call/text, as needed, within 2-3 days of visit

  •  May be helpful to have any weights for your infant available for the visit, preferably in kilograms or grams  
  •  Know approximately how many wet and dirty diapers your infant has been having over the last 24-48 hours
  •  Have a list of questions that you would like answered during the visit
